Written collaboratively among participants of the Berlin University Alliance XStudent Research Group 'Queering the Museum', this piece of speculative fiction imagines a queer future for Berlin-based ethnographic museum collections after all museums have sunk into the Berlin swamp. The group worked on queer temporality and museums over the winter term 2023/24 and our story is based on research in Berlin collections and museum spaces.
